Japan Logistics Fund's Tokyo property to get solar power generation facility

Shinkiba SolarWay GK received approval to begin construction of a solar power generation facility on the rooftop of industrial real estate investment trust Japan Logistics Fund Inc.'s ShinKiba Logistics Center II in Tokyo.

Shinkiba SolarWay is a tenant of the property's rooftop and an entity financed by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government-sponsored public-private renewable energy fund project.

The Shinkiba SolarWay facility will have a proposed annual power output of about 0.9 MW and is estimated to help reduce about 500 tonnes of CO2, according to a release.
