Sanchez Production Partners closes sale of noncore assets in Oklahoma, Kansas

closed thesale of substantially all of its operated oil and natural gas wells, leases andother assets in Oklahoma and Kansas.

The sale doesnot include assets in Osage County, Okla., which are associated with Sanchez's concessionagreement with the Osage Nation, as well as interests in non-operated oil and naturalgas wells and leases in the two states, according to a July 18 news release.

"The saleof these legacy production assets represents another stride in our continuing effortsto focus on opportunities that are more closely aligned with Sanchez Oil & Gas Corp.'s operational platform,"said Gerry Willinger, CEO of Sanchez's general partner."The assets, initiallyoffered for sale in March 2015, are considered noncore to the business of [Sanchez Production Partners]."
