Scripps Networks Interactive Inc. appointed Leena Singarajah as managing director for Asia, effective immediately.

Singarajah succeeds Derek Chang, who last year was promoted to the newly created post of head of International Lifestyle Channels. Singarajah will be based in Singapore and will report to Chang, according to a Jan. 23 press release. She joined Scripps in 2014 as head of distribution and ad sales for Asia-Pacific.
