AmeriHealth CaritasIowa Inc. said March 29 that it has named Victoria Sharp as its marketchief medical officer.

Sharp is responsible for the health plan's clinical and educationalinitiatives, such as care management, medical education and quality management.She brings more than 20 years of experience practicing medicine in the state, mostrecently serving as chief of staff for University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
