NextEra Energy Partners completes acquisition of Okla. wind farms

TheSeiling I andSeiling II windfacilities in Oklahoma have changed hands from one subsidiary to another.

hasacquired the facilities, which have a combined capacity of 299 MW and supplypower to American ElectricPower Co. Inc. subsidiary and the Golden Spread ElectricCooperative under separate agreements.

Thefacilities in Dewey and Woodward counties were from for $323million, including a $3 million working capital adjustment and the assumptionof $257 million of debt, according to a Form 10-Q filed April 29.

NextEraEnergy Partners funded the transaction through the sale of common units and byaccessing $75 millionin debt. The acquisition was expected to help boost NextEra EnergyPartners' first-quarter distribution by 3.7% to yield an annualizeddistribution of $1.275 per share.
