Navigators Group Inc. named James Rhyner as president of the Navigators Pro division of Navigators Management Co., the company's U.S. underwriting operation.

Rhyner will lead Navigators' U.S. directors and officers and errors and omissions businesses, based in New Jersey.

Rhyner previously worked at Chubb as senior vice president of professional liability.
