ONLY Corp. fiscal Q3 profit falls YOY

ONLY Corp. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended May 31 was ¥54.31 per share, a decrease of 8.9% from ¥59.62 per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥261.9 million, a decline of 8.9% from ¥287.5 million in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin dropped to 12.6% from 13.4% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue fell year over year to ¥2.08 billion from ¥2.14 billion, and total operating expenses came to ¥1.70 billion, compared with ¥1.69 billion in the prior-year period.

Reported net income fell year over year to ¥270.0 million, or ¥55.99 per share, from ¥276.0 million, or ¥57.24 per share.

As of July 13, US$1 was equivalent to ¥104.28.
