Hakers Enterprise Q3 profit climbs 47.6% YOY

Hakers Enterprise Co. Ltd. said its third-quarter normalized net income was NT$1.60 per share, an increase of 47.5% from NT$1.09 per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was NT$81.0 million, a gain of 47.6% from NT$54.9 million in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin increased to 12.9% from 8.0% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue decreased 7.9% year over year to NT$629.2 million from NT$682.9 million, and total operating expenses fell 8.8% on an annual basis to NT$556.4 million from NT$610.2 million.

Reported net income grew 43.1% year over year to NT$109.3 million, or NT$2.16 per share, from NT$76.4 million, or NT$1.51 per share.
