Granite REIThas named Michael Forsayeth to be its permanent CEO.

The company said March 31 that Forsayeth, who has been servingas its interim in addition to his role as thecompany's CFO, has permanently taken the reins.

Forsayeth's permanent CEO appointment became effective immediately.

The company earlier this month said it opted to stay the courseafter completing its strategic review.
