Advantex Marketing International fiscal Q2 loss narrows YOY

Advantex Marketing International Inc. said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended Dec. 31, 2015, was a loss of C$18,810, compared with a loss of C$90,050 in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

The normalized profit margin rose to negative 0.6% from negative 2.4% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue fell 18.5% year over year to C$3.1 million from C$3.8 million, and total operating expenses fell 23.5% on an annual basis to C$2.7 million from C$3.5 million.

Reported net income came to a loss of C$30,100, or a loss of 0 cents per share, compared to a loss of C$144,080, or a loss of 0 cents per share, in the prior-year period.
