BET+ streaming service launches in US

BET Networks and Tyler Perry Studios' new subscription video-on-demand service is now live in the U.S.

BET+ features over 1,000 hours of ad-free premium content, including exclusive new original programming and premier African American TV, movie and musical content. In the coming weeks, the service will feature stand-up comedy specials from D.L. Hughley, Eddie Griffin, Nick Cannon and Sasheer Zamata, among other comedians.

Additionally, BET+ is offering subscribers access to African American-focused dramas, sitcoms, films, and specials from BET and sister networks within the Viacom portfolio as well as the exclusive collection of Tyler Perry film, television, and stage plays. While pricing of the streaming service was not officially disclosed, Variety previously reported that BET+ is priced at $9.99 per month.

BET+ is available on Google LLC's Android devices, Amazon.com Inc.'s Fire TV and Prime Video Channels, and iOS devices such as Apple Inc.'s iPhone and iPad. Customers can subscribe directly through Apple TV channels.
