Verdant enters potential off-take deal for Ammaroo phosphate project

Verdant Minerals Ltd. said March 19 that it signed a nonbinding memorandum of understanding with Wilson International Trading Ltd. for the off-take of up to 350,000 tonnes per year of phosphate rock concentrate or other phosphate products from its Ammaroo phosphate project in Australia's Northern Territory.

Wilson buys up to 1 million tonnes per annum of phosphate rock for India-based fertilizer manufacturer Greenstar Fertilisers.

Under the MOU, the companies will negotiate a binding off-take agreement.
