* "TheGreat Food Truck Race: Family Face-Off" will premiere on on Aug. 28.Hosted by Tyler Florenceare, the season will feature six teams comprising ofsix families, who have never operated a food truck before, competing to win$50,000 awarded to the last food truck standing. The network July 29 that the seasonfinale will be on Sept. 25.

*TBS (US) isworking on a scripted show based on lyrics of Notorious B.I.G., Variety reportedJuly 28. The show will be called "Think B.I.G." and will follow aninner-city teen who wants to make a better life for his daughter and son.

*Esquire Network (US)greenlit the fourth season of its documentary series "Friday Night Tykes."The 10-episode season will follow various youth football teams and portrayvarious forms of coaching, parenting and mentoring styles and techniques, thenetwork said July28. The network also greenlit the second season of it spin-off series "FridayNight Tykes: Steel Country."

*Disney XD (US)ordered the second season of "Walk the Prank," the network July 28. The show is ablend of scripted comedy with real-life hidden camera pranks that are storydriven.

*HBO (US) renewedcomedy series "Ballers" for a third season, the network said July 28.The series is a glimpse into the lifestyles and problems of former and currentfootball players, with Dwayne Johnson playing ex-superstar Spencer Strasmore.

*The Smithsonian Channel (US)will celebrate the 80th anniversary of the maiden voyage of the luxurypassenger liner and wartime troop ship The Queen Mary by airing a one-hourspecial, the network saidJuly 28. "Mighty Ship at War: The Queen Mary" will debut on thenetwork Aug. 21. Built in Scotland, The Queen Mary is bigger and more powerfulthan the Titanic, and is the last survivor of her era of ocean liners. The showwill give viewers access to the liner through showcasing archival footage andphotographs.

*Bravo (US)said July 28 that itwill premiere the third season of "Manzo'd With Children" on Sept.11. Season five of "Don't be Tardy…" will also debut on the networkon Sept. 14.

*BET (US) willdebut a new docuseries, "The Gary Owen Show," on Oct 11. The show starsstand-up comedian Gary Owen and features comedic takes on his family life. Thenetwork said July 27that it will also premiere another new series, "Hustle & Blow,"on the same day right after "The Gary Owen Show" premiere. "RealHusbands of Hollywood" will also return for its fifth season on thenetwork on Oct. 11.

*Spike TV (US) hasordered a pilot for a late night talk show to be hosted by Jon Taffer, whohosts the network's show "Bar Rescue," Variety reportedJuly 27. Taffer will reportedly also work as an executive producer for thepotential series.

*POP (US) willdebut a six-episode limited series "Wolf Creek" on Oct. 14. Theseries is based on the movie of the same name which is based on true events.The story follows the murder of an American family at the hands of a serialkiller who hunts and kills tourists in the Australian Outback. The solesurvivor then tries to bring him to justice. John Jarratt reprises his movierole in the series as the killer, the network said July 27.

*HBO will not be renewing Matt Damon and Ben Affleck's docuseries "ProjectGreenlight" for a fifth season, VarietyreportedJuly 26. The network reportedly picked up a new season of the show in 2014,after airing the first two seasons from 2001 to 2003. The show was aired onBravo for its third season in 2005.

*HBO Latino will debut the third season of the original series "El Negocio"on Aug. 12. The third season will have 13 episodes.

*AMC (US) renewedits war drama "Turn: Washington's Spies" for its fourth and finalseason, Variety reportedJuly 26. Season three of the show reportedly ended June 26.

*Food Network signed a content deal with Hannah Hart, Multichannel News reportedJuly 26. Pursuant to the deal, a six-episode series will reportedly be created.

*Destination America (US)on July 25 launcheda blog, The Hauntist, as an official companion to the network's supernaturalprogramming. The blog will feature paranormal news, and analysis fromparanormal researchers and investigators. The Hauntist will also featureexclusive online extensions to the network's supernatural programming, as wellas fan giveaways.

*Freeform (US) hasgreenlit the pilot for a new drama, "The Deep," the networksaid July 25. Theshow is a one-hour drama about a coastal town known for having been home tomermaids once, where a mysterious girl's arrival is precursor to a battlebetween man and sea.

*Season four of "Below Deck" will premiere on 's Bravo onSept. 6. The show follows eight crew members of a luxury yacht as they work onboard and cater to the demands of the rich charter guests in the British VirginIslands, according to a July 25 pressrelease.

*Syfy (US) renewed"Wynonna Earp" for its second season, the network July 23. The series is based on theIDW Publishing comic book series by Beau Smith. Season two will premiere on thenetwork in 2017.

* Destination America will feature a two-hour special,"Paranormal Lockdown Halloween Special" on Oct. 28. Nick Groff andKatrina Weidman will investigate a house in Yorkshire, England, which isrenowned for violent poltergeist activity, the network July 22.

On OTT

* WillArnett's comedy "Flaked" was renewed for its second season byNetflix Inc., Variety reportedJuly 28. Season two, which is reportedly set to debut in 2017, will have sixepisodes. Arnett plays Chip in the show, a man who is doing his best to stayone step ahead of the web of lies he has weaved.

*Netflix renewed three of its original series, Variety reportedJuly 27. "Chelsea," the talk show hosted by Chelsea Handler, willreturn in 2017 with a 90-episode season 2. The single-camera comedy "LadyDynamite" will return for a second season as well. Comedian Rob Schneider'scomedic take on his life "Real Rob" was also slated for aneight-episode second season renewal.
