Goldman Sachs Group Inc. has tapped Dusty Philip to help lead the company's mergers and acquisitions business, according to a report from The Wall Street Journal.
Philip most recently led Goldman Sachs' industrial business and previously worked as the bank's co-head of M&A in the Americas. Philip will serve as co-head of global M&A alongside Michael Carr and Gilberto Pozzi, according to the report.
Goldman Sachs has also reportedly named Matt McClure to succeed Philip at the helm of the industrial business. McClure reportedly works within the company's industrial business and co-leads the bank's M&A business in the Americas.
The company has also hired JPMorgan Chase & Co. banker Chris Gallea as an investment-banking partner, the publication reported, citing "a person familiar with the matter."
A Goldman Sachs spokesperson did not respond to a request for comment.
