Centene Corp. extended Chairman, President and CEO Michael Neidorff's employment agreement to 2020.

Farmers Group Inc. named Tom Rogers chief investment officer. Farmers Insurance Exchange is the largest of the three primary insurance insurers that make up Farmers Insurance.

Willis Towers Watson Plc appointed Mary O'Connor to lead the client and business development function for Willis Towers Watson Great Britain.

Sean Brosnan will be promoted to senior vice president and chief investment officer of RenaissanceRe Holdings Ltd., among other management changes.

Navigators Group Inc. added four executives from Ironshore International, including Hanne Wagner, who leads the agriculture treaty team from London, The Insurance Insider reported.

Priority Health hired James Forshee as senior vice president of medical affairs and chief medical officer. Forshee previously worked as vice president of medical affairs and chief medical officer for Molina Healthcare of Michigan Inc.

Great American Insurance Group promoted Michael Sullivan Jr. to executive vice president and David Thompson Jr. to senior vice president within its P&C operations. Great American Insurance Group members, including Great American Insurance Co., are subsidiaries of American Financial Group Inc.

Ralph Holmes joined Cigna Corp. as president and general manager for its commercial healthcare benefits plans in Arizona. Holmes was previously president of Aetna Health Inc. (a Texas corp.).

Marsh & McLennan Cos. Inc. unit Guy Carpenter & Co. LLC made appointments for its newly created global strategic advisory organization.

Corey Walther was named head of distribution relationship management at Allianz Life Insurance Co. of North America. Walther most recently was COO and chief compliance officer for Allianz Life Financial Services LLC. He will continue as chief compliance officer until a replacement is named.

Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co. tapped Dennis Duquette as head of community responsibility and president of the MassMutual Foundation.

Joseph Laws and Michael McGowan were appointed directors of XL Catlin's M&A insurance in North America. McGowan most recently was a vice president at Chubb Ltd. XL Catlin is the global brand used by XL Group Ltd.'s insurance and reinsurance companies.

Dec. 12

Ambac Financial Group Inc. appointed Claude LeBlanc president and CEO, succeeding Nader Tavakoli, who resigned. LeBlanc will leave his role as CFO and chief restructuring officer at Syncora Holdings Ltd.

Guy Carpenter tapped James Nash as president of its new international division.

Jeffrey Updyke will serve as regional manager for the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions of Chubb's commercial insurance division in North America. Updyke succeeds Jane Peterson, who will retire in January 2017.

National Interstate Insurance Co. promoted George Skuggen to senior vice president and hired Steve Blankenship as vice president of passenger transportation. Blankenship joined from American International Group Inc., where he most recently served in a management role.

Matt Grimm was hired as president of Vanliner Insurance Co. Grimm previously served as vice president of passenger transportation at National Interstate Insurance.

Dec. 10

The National Association of Insurance Commissioners appointed Michael Consedine as its new CEO. Consedine is a former Pennsylvania insurance commissioner and current AEGON NV executive.

Dec. 9

Jonathan Gale will become chief executive of XL Catlin's Bermuda reinsurance business, as part of recent leadership moves.

Dec. 8

W. R. Berkley Corp. named Miklos Kallo president of Berkley Regional Specialty. Kallo succeeds Paul McAuliffe, who plans to retire at the end of the year.
