Switzerland-based Zurich Insurance Group AG appointed Mark Peters head of Oak Underwriting PLC following the closing of its acquisition of the U.K.-based high-net-worth insurance specialist from RSA Insurance Group PLC.

Peters, who serves as Zurich's head of market management for wealth, replaces former Oak Underwriting Managing Director Mark Coffey.

Property and casualty

Willis Towers Watson PLC made Amanda Scott the Great Britain head of its talent and rewards business, and Hazel Rees the leader of its rewards line of business in the region.

Scott was previously a global client relationship director in the company. Rees was formerly Great Britain practice leader for executive compensation.

Liberty Mutual Re's U.S. operation began writing marine risks for the first time, headed by Scott Johnson, who joins from Munich Re.

Liberty Mutual Re is the rebranded reinsurance division of Liberty Specialty Markets.

Builders Insurance Group Inc. appointed J. Stephen Berry senior vice president, general counsel and secretary.

He will replace Craig Edwards, who will retire in July.

Previously, Berry was a partner at Dentons US, where he led the insurance team of the Atlanta office.
