AppleInc. said July 6 it has launched its mobile payment service ApplePay in Switzerland.

Apple Pay is expected to face competition from local digitalpayment system Twint, which was jointly developed by , banks and retailers,Telecompaper reported July 7.

The service made its European in the in July 2015. The tech giant in May revealed plansto expand Apple Pay'sreach across Asia and Europe.
