Renascor Resources Ltd. appointed Richard Keevers as nonexecutive chairman of the company, effective Jan. 1, 2017.

Keevers is currently a nonexecutive director of the company and has over 40 years of experience in the resource sector, according to a Dec. 21 release.

The outgoing chairman, Stephen Bizzell, will remain on the board as a nonexecutive director.

Renascor recently completed the acquisition of a 100% stake in Eyre Peninsula Minerals Pty. Ltd., which holds an option over the Arno graphite project in South Australia's Eyre Peninsula.
