Bricks and mortar: Aberdeen Proving Ground FCU to open 2 new branches

Mid-Atlantic

Aberdeen Proving Ground FCU will open two new Maryland branches in 2018 — at 2579 Augustine Highway, Route 213, in Chesapeake and at 1327 Riverside Parkway in the Riverside Shopping Center in Belcamp — Delaware Business Now reported.

The two branches were former banking offices of Wilmington, Del.-based PNC Bank NA.

The Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities approved Philadelphia-based Republic First Bank's application for a branch at 1400 Blackwood-Clementon Road in Clementon, N.J., according to the state regulator's summary of activities.

The bank is a subsidiary of Republic First Bancorp Inc.

Clearfield, Pa.-based CNB Bank opened a branch at 5190 Sheridan Drive in Williamsville, N.Y., according to the Pennsylvania banking regulator's summary of activities.

The CNB Financial Corp. unit also closed its branch at 1605 Marion Road in Bucyrus, Ohio.

The state regulator approved the application of Pennsylvania-based Somerset Trust Co., a unit of Somerset Trust Holding Co., to open a branch at 12120 U.S. 30 in North Huntingdon, Pa.

York Traditions Bank in Pennsylvania obtained the state banking regulator's approval to open a branch at 100-102 N. George St. in York, Pa.

Philadelphia-based Citizens Bank of Pennsylvania closed branches at 12301 Knights Road in Philadelphia and 777 Park Ave. in Meadville, Pa., according to the state banking regulator.

Indiana, Pa.-based First Commonwealth Bank, a unit of First Commonwealth Financial Corp., closed its branch at 2121 Bethel Road in Columbus, Ohio, according to the state banking regulator.

District of Columbia-based National Capital Bank of Washington filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency to establish a branch at 2505 Wilson Blvd. in Arlington, Va., according to the regulator's website.

Uniondale, N.Y.-based Flushing Bank, a unit of Flushing Financial Corp., closed a branch at 188-08 Hollis Court Blvd., Auburndale, in Queens borough, N.Y., according to the New York State Department of Financial Services' weekly banking bulletin.

Midwest

Ludington, Mich.-based West Shore Bank, a unit of West Shore Bank Corp., is scheduled to open a branch at 4851 Main St. in Onekama, Mich., in January 2018.

Wisner, Neb.-based Citizens State Bank, a unit of Citizens National Corp., applied with the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City to establish a branch at 754 Gold Coast Drive, Suite 101, in Papillion, Neb.

Northeast

East Weymouth, Mass.-based Equitable Bank, a unit of Equitable Bancorp MHC, received the approval of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston to establish a branch at 10 Patriot Parkway in South Weymouth, Mass.

Southeast

Fayetteville, Ark.-based Arvest Bank, a unit of Arvest Bank Group Inc., received the approval of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis to establish a branch at 827 SW 31st St. in Oklahoma City.

Destin-based First Florida Bank, a unit of First Florida Bancorp Inc., received the approval of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta to establish a branch at 701 Harrison Ave. in Panama City, Fla.

Southwest

Stilwell, Okla.-based Bank of Commerce, a unit of Peoples Commercial Bancorp Inc., received the approval of the Kansas City Fed to establish a branch at 8272 S. Lewis Ave. in Tulsa, Okla.

Shawnee, Okla.-based First National Bank and Trust Co. intends to close its branch at 1545 S. Gordon Cooper Drive in Shawnee, according to the OCC's website.

The OCC approved the application of Denver-based Sunflower Bank NA, a unit of FirstSun Capital Bancorp, to open a branch at 6929 East Greenway Parkway, Suite 250, in Scottsdale, Ariz.

La Jolla, Calif.-based Silvergate Bank, a unit of Silvergate Capital Corp., received the approval of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco to establish a branch at 277 Rancheros Drive in San Marcos, Calif.

Oakdale, Calif.-based Oak Valley Community Bank, a unit of Oak Valley Bancorp, applied with the San Francisco Fed to open a new branch at 241 W. Main St. in Turlock, Calif.

California-based Chino Commercial Bank NA, a unit of Chino Commercial Bancorp, applied with the OCC to establish a branch at 300 N. Mountain Ave. in Upland, Calif.
