The board of Costa-Rica based Banco Hipotecario de la Vivienda appointed Dagoberto Hidalgo Cortés the bank's general manager, effective Jan. 15, 2020, for a six-year term.

Hidalgo Cortés has more than 19 years of experience in banking, the bank said in a news release. According to S&P Global Market Intelligence data, he will replace Luis Ángel Montoya Mora, who has been serving as the bank's general manager since 2014.
