SanAntonio-based Security Service FederalCredit Union formed Security Service Insurance, a full-service unitproviding insurance products to members and the general public.

Accordingto a news release, the credit union subsidiary is offering property and casualtyinsurance products for homes, renters, automobiles, motorcycles, boats and ATVs.The insurance unit will also offer the service in Colorado and Utah, not just inTexas.

SecurityService said it plans to add to the list of insurance carriers, which currentlyinclude Travelers, Progressive and Hartford.
