Changshouhua Food H1 profit falls YOY

Changshouhua Food Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the first half amounted to 15 fen per share, a decrease from 16 fen per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 87.8 million yuan, a decline from 89.5 million yuan in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue climbed year over year to 1.36 billion yuan from 1.32 billion yuan, and total operating expenses climbed from the prior-year period to 1.23 billion yuan from 1.19 billion yuan.

Reported net income rose 11.1% from the prior-year period to 119.2 million yuan, or 21 fen per share, from 107.3 million yuan, or 19 fen per share.

As of Sept. 27, US$1 was equivalent to 6.67 yuan.
