SBI Holdings to invest in Boerse Stuttgart's digital-asset management units

Japan's SBI Holdings Inc. plans to invest in two digital-asset management businesses of German stock exchange operator Boerse Stuttgart GmbH.

The Tokyo-based asset manager will invest for an undisclosed sum in Boerse Stuttgart Digital Ventures Gmbh and Boerse Stuttgart Digital Exchange GmbH, which is a joint venture between Boerse Stuttgart GmbH, German publisher Axel Springer SE and finanzen.net GmbH.

SBI Holdings and Boerse Stuttgart Group will collaborate to build a blockchain-based digital asset ecosystem in Europe and Asia, according to a Dec. 20 release.
