Straight Path leads communications short interest decliners

Straight Path Communications Inc. posted the biggest drop in short interest relative to shares outstanding among Kagan-covered communications companies between Sept. 15 and Sept. 29.

The company saw short interest drop 325 basis points to 8.94% of shares outstanding at the end of the period.

Fusion Telecommunications International Inc. had the biggest jump in short interest relative to shares outstanding among Kagan-covered communications companies between Sept. 15 and Sept. 29. The percentage of the company's shares held short relative to shares outstanding climbed 169 basis points to 4.26% as of Sept. 29.

Frontier Communications Corp. topped the list of most shorted communications companies between Sept. 15 and Sept. 29. The company saw short interest fall 115 basis points to 34.08% of shares outstanding.
