OUE Commercial REIT logs YOY rise in Q2 distribution

OUE Commercial REIT will distribute a dividend per unit, or DPU, of 1.15 cents for the three-month period ended June 30, logging an increase of 0.6% year over year.

The trust will pay out a total of S$17.8 million in dividends to its shareholders for the quarter.

The DPU marks an annualized distribution yield of 6.4% based on the company's unit closing price of 71.5 Singapore cents as at June-end. Shareholders will receive their payouts semiannually, with 2.38 cents per unit, or a total of S$34.5 million, to be distributed during the first half.

Following a private placement of 233,281,400 new units at 64.3 cents apiece in March, an advance distribution of 1.00 cent per unit for the Jan. 1 to March 16 period was paid out on June 6, according to the trust's earnings release.

Meanwhile, the balance DPU of 1.38 cents for the period running from March 17 to June 30 will be made Sept. 5.

As of Aug. 2, US$1 was equivalent to S$1.36.
