South Korean regulator imposes 2B won fine on Yuanta Securities Korea

South Korea's Securities and Futures Commission finedYuanta Securities Korea Co.Ltd. 2 billion won for its failure to disclose certain transactionsin its regulatory filings, The KoreaHerald reported July 14, citing the commission.

The regulator said the company did not include real estatetransactions with an affiliated person, as well as monetary transactionsbetween a subsidiary and an affiliated person between 2010 and 2013. Further, astate-designated auditor will audit the company for two years.

The violations were made when the company was still known asTongyang Securities.
