4273822 said its normalized net income for the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31 came to ¥61.74 per share, a gain of 10.6% from ¥55.80 per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥2.36 billion, a gain of 12.5% from ¥2.10 billion in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin fell to 3.9% from 4.4% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue rose 28.3% year over year to ¥60.93 billion from ¥47.50 billion, and total operating expenses increased 29.8% year over year to ¥56.93 billion from ¥43.84 billion.

Reported net income declined 24.0% on an annual basis to ¥2.03 billion, or ¥53.18 per share, from ¥2.68 billion, or ¥71.20 per share.

For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled ¥169.38 per share, an increase of 36.9% from ¥123.72 per share in the prior year.

Normalized net income was ¥6.43 billion, an increase of 37.8% from ¥4.67 billion in the prior year.

Full-year total revenue grew 19.7% on an annual basis to ¥214.88 billion from ¥179.47 billion, and total operating expenses increased 19.2% on an annual basis to ¥203.23 billion from ¥170.52 billion.

The company said reported net income grew 11.6% year over year to ¥6.57 billion, or ¥173.09 per share, in the full year, from ¥5.89 billion, or ¥156.12 per share.
