SNH Capital Partners bought Universal Background Screening Inc., a Phoenix-based provider of background screening products and services, for an undisclosed amount.

Universal Background will merge with SNH portfolio company PeopleFacts LLC.

SNH invests in technology and technology-enabled business services providers in the lower middle-market.

WhiteHorse Capital, a direct lending affiliate of H.I.G. Capital, provided financing for the transaction, while Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP served as legal adviser.
