Bellevue Gold announces chairman resignation, names new nonexecutive chairman

Australian miner Bellevue Gold Ltd. said Sept. 9 that the company has appointed Kevin Tomlinson as its new non-executive chairman.

Tomlinson is also the non-executive chairman of Cardinal Resources Ltd. and Infinity Lithium Corp. Ltd.

At the same time, Bellevue announced that Ray Shorrocks has resigned as chairman and director of Bellevue Gold.

In July, the company said it planned to raise A$18.5 million via an institutional placement of about 32.4 million shares to fund ongoing exploration at its Bellevue gold project in Western Australia and for potential predevelopment activities and working capital.
