Bank of Cyprus gets shareholder nod for London listing

Shareholders of Bank of Cyprus Public Co. Ltd. on Dec. 13 approved two resolutions that will facilitate the lender's plan to apply for a standard listing on the London Stock Exchange.

The shareholders approved a scheme of arrangement that will establish Bank of Cyprus Holdings Plc as the lender's new holding company, as well as a series of transactions restructuring the bank's share capital.

Bank of Cyprus Holdings is headquartered in Ireland.
