S&P Global MarketIntelligence rounds up notable branch openings and closings over the past week.This wrap excludes certain moves by banks with more than $5 billion in assetsand certain credit unions.


The Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securitiesapproved an application by Pittston, Pa.-based for a branchat 781 Airport Road in Hazle Township, Pa., according to the state regulator'ssummary ofactivities for the week ended Sept. 27.

LandmarkBancorp Inc. is the bank's parent company.


Saint Joseph, Mich.-based United Federal Credit Union opened a branch at 935 JacksValley Road in Carson City, Nev., on Oct. 3, and is set to hold a grand openingcelebration mid-October. The branch is the credit union's seventh free-standingbranch in the state, according to a press release.

Omaha,Neb.-based FrontierBank opened a branch at 70th & O Street, in Lincoln, Neb. Thebranch is the second Lincoln location of the Frontier Holdings LLC subsidiary, the Lincoln Journal Star reportedOct. 3.

The OCC onSept. 27 received an application from Salina, Kan.-based , seeking toestablish a branch at 3025 Cortland Circle in Salina, according to theregulator's website.

The bank isa unit of Sunflower FinancialInc.


During theweek ended Sept. 24, the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston received an applicationfrom Watertown, Mass.-based Watertown Savings Bank, seeking to establish a branch at1265 Main Street in Waltham, Mass., according to the regulator's website.


Delray Beach, Fla.-based IBM Southeast Employees' Credit Union on Oct. 4 held agrand opening celebration for its branch at 124 W. Church Street in Jasper,Ga., according to a same-day post  on thecredit union's Facebook page.

The OCC onSept. 29 approved Access NationalBank's application for a branch at 2300 Wilson Boulevard Suite 100in Arlington, Va., according to the regulator's website.

The Reston,Va.-based bank is a subsidiary of Access National Corp.

The OCC onOct. 3 approved First NationalBank of Middle Tennessee's application to establish a branch at1700 North Main St. in Shelbyville, Tenn., according to the regulator'swebsite.

TheMcMinnville, Tenn.-based bank is a unit of First McMinnville Corp.

Greensboro,Ga.-based BankSouth,a subsidiary of BankSouth HoldingCo., opened a branch at 3290 Northside Parkway, Suite 100, inAtlanta, effective Aug. 22, according to the OCC's website.

Vero Beach,Fla.-based OculinaBank, a subsidiary of Oculina Banc Corp., opened a branch at 1929 SeawayDrive, Fort Pierce, (St. Lucie), Fla., effective Sept. 16, according to theOCC's website.  

TheArkansas State Bank Department on Sept. 30 approved 's application toopen a branch at 707 Tracy Lawrence Ave. in Foreman, Ark., according to thestate regulator's website.

TheHoratio, Ark.-based bank is a unit of PioneerBancshares Inc. of Horatio Ark.

TheArkansas State Bank Department on Sept. 28 approved 'sapplication to open a branch at 1621 West Beebe Capps Expressway in Searcy,Ark., according to the state regulator's website.

Stillwater, Okla.-based Bank SNB opened a facility in the Domain Northsideentertainment district in Austin, Texas, according to an Oct. 3 . The subsidiarywill hold a launch party for the space on Nov. 14.

The OCC onSept. 29 received an application from Houston-based seeking toestablish a branch at 500 North Central Expressway in Richardson, Texas,according to the regulator's website.

Arlington,Texas-based Worthington NationalBank is planning to open a branch at the SEC of Edwards Ranch Roadand Bryant Irvin in southwest Fort Worth, Texas, Bankers Digest reported Oct. 3.

The bankalready broke ground on the location and expects to open the branch in the fallof 2017, according to the report.

Lubbock,Texas-based Peoples Bank,a subsidiary of Peoples BancorpInc., received the Texas Department of Banking's approval to open abranch at 11011 Quaker Ave., in Lubbock, BankersDigest reported.

ThreeRivers, Texas-based First StateBank, a unit of County Bancshares Inc., filed an application with theTexas Department of Banking for a branch at 8350 Phelan Blvd., Ste. A, inBeaumont, Texas, according to BankersDigest.

Dallas-basedPegasus Bank filed anapplication with the Texas Department of Banking for a branch at 5940 ForestLane, in Dallas, Bankers Digest reported.

El Paso,Texas-based Capital BankSSB, a unit of Strategic Growth Bancorp Inc., filed an application withthe Texas Department of Savings and Mortgage Lending for a branch at 6801 N.Mesa. Ste. B-1, in El Paso, according to BankersDigest.


Cheyenne, Wyo.-based Blue Federal Credit Union opened a branch at 136 W.Mountain Ave., in Fort Collins, Colo., and will hold a grand opening event Oct.6, according to a notice posted on the credit union's website.
