The Society for Worldwide Interbank FinancialTelecommunication said ICICI BankLtd. and Axis BankLtd. have joined the Belgium-based global network.

The interbank messaging system, which facilitatesinternational transactions, currently has 70 members. The two Indian lenderswill initially focus on using the network for business-to-business transactions.
