Univanich Palm Oil Q3 profit falls YOY

Univanich Palm Oil Public Company Ltd said its third-quarter normalized net income amounted to 7 satang per share, a decrease of 17.6% from 9 satang per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 70.0 million baht, a decrease of 17.6% from 85.0 million baht in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin declined to 6.5% from 7.6% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue declined year over year to 1.07 billion baht from 1.12 billion baht, and total operating expenses decreased from the prior-year period to 968.9 million baht from 1.00 billion baht.

Reported net income decreased 16.4% from the prior-year period to 96.0 million baht, or 10 satang per share, from 114.8 million baht, or 12 satang per share.

As of Nov. 14, US$1 was equivalent to 35.51 baht.
