Amazon.com Inc. said June 3 that its Prime Free One Day delivery service will now be available without a minimum purchase amount.
The e-commerce giant said Prime members may now purchase more than 10 million items without a minimum required amount for delivery the next day.
Prime Free One Day is available in more than 10,000 cities and towns in 44 major metropolitan areas across the U.S., as well as in 17 other countries, although delivery times may vary per country, Amazon said.
Amazon ramped up its one-day delivery service for Prime orders in April, and in May Walmart Inc. rolled out its own free next-day delivery service that does not require a membership fee.
