NaspersLtd's Polishe-commerce unit Allegro could get around $3 billion, including debt, after receivingbuyout bids from several private equity firms, Bloomberg News reported Oct. 3,citing people familiar with the process.
CVC Capital Partners and General Atlantic, as well as agroup made up of Cinven Ltd., Permira and Mid Europa partners reportedlysubmitted two of the highest bids to acquire the company.
Allegro rival eBay Inc. is also linked as a potential buyer for the company.
