Penn Community, Chelten Hills close merger

Penn Community Bank has completed the acquisition of fellow Pennsylvania-headquartered institution Chelten Hills Savings Bank.

As of June 30, Doylestown-based Penn Community had $2.00 billion in assets; Abington-based Chelten Hills had $24.8 million.

Penn Community Bank is a unit of Penn Community Financial Corp. Its ultimate parent is Penn Community Mutual Holdings Inc.
