Former Chevron exec, NGSA chairman appointed as CEO of LNG Ltd.

LNG Ltd.on April 4 announced the appointment of Gregory Vesey as its new managingdirector and CEO, effective on the same day.

Vesey, who succeeds Maurice Brand, will be based inHouston. Brand will continue to serve as an executive director until hisretirement, scheduled for June 2017.

Vesey previously worked at for 35 years, where hisresponsibilities most recently included Chevron's Global Gas marketing andtrading activity, including LNG development. Vesey also recently concluded afour-year term on the board of the Natural Gas Supply Association, the last twoyears of which he served as chairman, according to the news release.
