Jaime Chico Pardo, independent lead director at Honeywell International Inc., will step down at the annual shareholder meeting in April 2020.

Honeywell board member D. Scott Davis, who has chaired the management development and compensation committee since 2010, will succeed Chico Pardo. Davis was chairman and CEO of United Parcel Service Inc. from Jan. 1, 2008, to September 2014.

Chico Pardo became Honeywell's independent lead director on Jan. 1, 2016.
