Tomasello was most recently chief commercial officer of Kite Pharma Inc.
Meanwhile, Jean-François Pariseau, who has served on the company's board since 2012, stepped down, effective immediately.
Clementia develops treatments for ultra-rare bone disorders and other diseases with high medical need.
