Microsoft Corp. and NTT Corp. entered into a multiyear strategic alliance to deliver services for enterprise customers to accelerate digital transformations.

The partnership will bring together NTT's ICT infrastructure, managed services and cybersecurity expertise, and Microsoft's cloud platform and artificial intelligence technologies, according to a Dec. 10 news release.

As part of the strategic alliance, the companies will create Global Digital Fabric, a combination of Microsoft Cloud and NTT’s globally connected ICT infrastructure. Microsoft and NTT will also develop digital enterprise services built on Microsoft Azure as well as co-innovate next-generation technologies in the area of all-photonics network and digital twin computing.
