SolGold finds new exploration target at Cascabel copper-gold project in Ecuador

SolGoldPlc said April 12 that exploration at its 85%-owned copper-gold porphyryproject in Ecuador discovered porphyry style mineralization on surface, about400 meters south of the Alpala Creek, pointing to a new target area, AlpalaSouth.

The company's mapping program is continuing to define theextent of outcropping mineralization at Alpala South and Hematite Hill.

In December 2015, the expansion of the 1:500 scale geological mapping acrossthe Cascabel project led to a discovery of porphyry copper-gold mineralizationin outcrop, along the northern and northeastern slopes of Trivino Hill.

CornerstoneCapital Resources Inc. owns the remaining 15% of Cascabel.
