Giorgos Michelis, Attica Bank SA's chairman of the board, died May 25, aged 69, Ekathimerini reported.

Michelis, who was appointed chairman of the Greek lender on March 29, was previously the CEO of Bancpost SA and was chairman of the General Council of the Hellenic Financial Stability Fund from 2015 to 2018.
