Banco de Occidente issues 400B Colombian pesos of bonds

Banco de Occidente SA said it issued 400 billion Colombian pesos of bonds through a Dutch auction on Sept. 18, with demand for the notes reaching about 1.518 trillion pesos.

The bank sold 145.20 billion pesos of 36-month series B notes with a yield of inflation plus 1.75%, 119.00 billion pesos of 60-month series A notes carrying a rate of 5.83%, and 135.80 billion pesos of series B notes with a yield of inflation plus 2.63%.

Demand for the three tranches reached 340.70 billion pesos, 755.40 billion pesos and 421.40 billion pesos, respectively.

Banco de Occidente is a unit of Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA.

As of Sept. 18, US$1 was equivalent to 3,381.20 Colombian pesos.
