An-shin Food Services Q2 profit climbs 20.7% YOY

4915117 said its normalized net income for the second quarter was NT$1.55 per share, an increase of 20.7% from NT$1.29 per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was NT$50.3 million, an increase of 20.7% from NT$41.7 million in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin rose to 4.2% from 3.8% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue grew 7.2% on an annual basis to NT$1.19 billion from NT$1.11 billion, and total operating expenses climbed 5.3% on an annual basis to NT$1.12 billion from NT$1.07 billion.

Reported net income increased 89.6% on an annual basis to NT$65.2 million, or NT$2.01 per share, from NT$34.4 million, or NT$1.06 per share.
