Highlights from the final 10 drill holes recently completed by NexGen Energy Ltd. at the Arrow zone on its Rook I property in Saskatchewan include 30 meters at 15.07% U3O8, including a 6-meter subinterval at 51.97% U3O8.

The company on Dec. 20 said it has received all assays from 73,091 meters of drilling completed this year, with an updated resource estimate for the Arrow deposit anticipated in the first half of 2017.

NexGen is preparing for a 35,000-meter winter drill program starting in late January 2017.

An initial resource estimate for Arrow was posted in early March, comprising 3.48 million tonnes grading 2.63% U3O8 for 201.9 million pounds of U3O8.
