2 directors leaving Chemung Financial's board

Elmira, N.Y.-basedChemung Financial Corp.disclosed in a definitive proxy statement filed March 31 that director William Eggerswill retire May 12 after attaining the maximum age to serve as a director.

The filing alsostated that director Eugene Sneeringer Jr. is resigning as a director May 12. Histerm would have expired at the annual meeting in 2017.

Eggers, 71, has been senior counsel with the law firm of NixonPeabody LLP since 2007.

Sneeringer, 61, has been, since 1979, a principal in the firmof Sneeringer Monahan Provost Redgrave Title Agency Inc. He is a practicing attorneyspecializing in real estate law, commercial lending and title insurance.
