Hydro-Québec issues C$500M of debentures

Hydro-Québec agreed to issue C$500 million of 4% series JQ debentures due Feb. 15, 2055, on the Canadian domestic market.

With this issuance, the total aggregate principal amount of debentures outstanding under the series now amounts to C$1.50 billion, according to an Oct. 4 company release.

National Bank Financial Inc. acts as the lead manager for the issue, while CIBC World Markets Inc. and The Toronto-Dominion Bank serve as co-lead managers. Other managers are BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc., Casgrain & Co. Ltd., Desjardins Securities Inc., Laurentian Bank Securities Inc., RBC Dominion Securities Inc. and Scotia Capital Inc.
