China Merchants Bank Co. Ltd. proposed the addition of Sun Yunfei and Wang Daxiong to its board as nonexecutive directors and of Tian Hongqi as an independent director.

The resolutions for their inclusion to the company's list of candidates for directors were approved at a May 30 meeting.

In a filing, the bank also noted that its board of supervisors approved Jin Qingjun's request to not offer himself up for reelection as an external supervisor because of personal reasons.
