Philippine Stock Exchange buys back 445.1M pesos of shares

Philippine Stock Exchange Inc. repurchased 445.1 million pesos worth of common shares.

The bourse bought back 2,419,965 shares at 183.93 pesos apiece, according to an Oct. 2 stock exchange filing.

In relation to the share buyback, the trading was halted at 10:20 a.m. on Oct. 2 and lifted at 11:20 a.m., according to a separate same-day release.

As of Oct. 1, US$1 was equivalent to 52.04 Philippine pesos.
