Data solutions provider gets majority investment from Bridge Growth Partners

Bridge Growth Partners LLC agreed to make a majority equity investment in BackOffice Associates for undisclosed terms.

BackOffice Associates is a Massachusetts-based provider of information governance, data stewardship and data migration solutions. The company has more than 800 employees and more than 500 customers worldwide.

After the transaction, David Booth will continue to serve as BackOffice Associates' CEO and board member. Goldman Sachs Group Inc. Managing Directors Joe DiSabato and David Campbell will represent Goldman Sachs on BackOffice Associates' board. James Rogers, a director of NewMarket Corp. and Owens & Minor Inc., will also remain on the board.

Also joining BackOffice Associates' board are Joe Tucci, Bridge Growth Partners chairman; Bill Teuber, Bridge Growth Partners senior operating principal; Steve Mills, Bridge Growth Partners senior adviser; Dave Barnes, Bridge Growth Partners senior adviser; Peter Griffiths, Bridge Growth Partners technology advisory board member; and Alok Singh, Bridge Growth Partners managing principal.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC acted as exclusive financial adviser to BackOffice Associates, and Goodwin Procter LLP served as legal counsel. Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP served as legal counsel and Stikeman Elliott acted as Canadian counsel to Bridge Growth Partners.
